Blackwater Goldendoodles a high-end puppy breeding business, approached us with a mission to captivate and educate families and animal lovers to understand the reason behind their premium-priced puppies. As a result, Blackwater Goldendoodles sold out her new litter in less than two weeks, a dramatic improvement from their previous sales performance where some puppies were given to a guardian home for adoption. The strategic branding and enhanced online presence not only increased her sales but also solidified her position in the market as a provider of exclusive, high-quality puppies.

The Outcome

Developing the strategy

AMATI's Creative Director, Juan Paz, sat down with Jessica Adkins, the owner of Blackwater Goldendoodles, and her founding family to craft the brand's strategy. During an initial meet-and-greet session, Juan delved into the family's unique story and vision. Based in Amarillo, Texas, Blackwater Goldendoodles was founded by a family passionate about dogs, hunting, and the freedom of the outdoors. They started their breeding program to find a loving pet despite severe allergies in one of the members. Over the course of their discussions, Juan identified the challenges the family faced and prioritized the needs and goals of their business and customers. This collaborative process laid the foundation for the website redesign and brand overhaul.

Defining the Brand

During our work sessions we ran a series of exercises that helped us extract and refine the key attributes of the brand. This helped us capture the brands personality: Voice, Feeling and impact.

Understanding who, and what is Blackwater Goldendoodles helped us define their brand statement which helped established the framework for their brand identity and website.

Brand Refresh

AMATI, meticulously crafted a comprehensive brand identity to ensure every customer interaction consistently reflected the brand. The rebranding effort encompassed a refreshed logo, a newly introduced color palette, a modern typeface, and a beautiful showcase of the their dogs. These updates fostered a more overall cohesive experience.
